The freedom that abstraction gives the artist is one of the most effective ways to lose the fear of the blank canvas.
In the first instance, many times just placing the brush with paint on the canvas takes you down a path of no return and the mind and the senses want to continue exploring beyond the limits of the surface.
Then you discover that there are many ways to create nuances and textures, that logic and concreteness no longer exist, that’s when you lose yourself or find yourself as an artist.
“For me, painting Abstraction is self-discovery, it is expression without conditioning, it is losing fear of error, because error is the path to creativity.”
